On December 15th, Tan Jing sang The Date of China during a 10-minute sequence called Oriental Charm at the closing ceremony of 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.


In December, Tan participated in the Red Ribbon Symphony Concert held at the Beijing Concert Hall by National Family Planning Office, Working Committee for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Treatment under the State Council, Ministry of Publicity of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party(CPC) and Ministry of Culture.


In November, Tan was chosen as ambassador of anti-drugs campaign among college students which was called Caring for the College Students¡ªGoing Into Colleges when Tulips Blossom.


On September 12th, Tan successfully held The Sound of Harmony¡ªTan Vienna Golden Hall Solo Concert.


In July, Tan received her Master¡¯s Degree from the Art Academy of PLA.


In May, Tan set up the Tan Jing Youth Health Fund and was chosen as Love Ambassador of Youth Health Fund in Jiangxi Province.


In recent years, she has attended many local performances with the CCTV "Heart-to-Heart" Art Troupe and sang many theme songs for the TV series. Her major works include On the East Mountain Top, Wife, Soldiers and Tanggula, etc.
The theme songs of the TV series Tan has sung include the theme song the Feelings and Thoughts at the End of Life to the teleplay named ¡°Qiaos¡® Big House¡±, Tracks in the Snow Forest, Traceless Snow, Absolute Power, I just cant stop and Goddess of Kunlun, etc.
