Tan was admitted into the Song and Dance Troupe of the PLA.

On July 28th, she participated in the 9th International Pop Music Competition: Voice of Asia held in Kazakhstan on behalf of China and won the silver prize. She was also awarded third-class merit by the General Political Department.
Her MTV Warmth and Splendor won the Golden Award of the National Cable TV MTV Competition.
