In September, Tan sang Who Is Taking the Lead at the 7th PLA Theatrical Festival and won the first prize. On September 28th, she attended the evening party called Ode to the Motherland to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the PRC.
Her song Tanggula won the Five-One Project Award sponsored by the Ministry of Publicity of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC). The theme song she sang for the TV play Goddess of Kunlun also won the Five-One Project Award as well as the FeiTian Award.

Tan participated in the 4th “Big Red Eagle Cup” MTV Competition of Army Songs held by CCTV and won the Top Ten New Singers Award.
